I am about to bypass my factory water/fuel separator for a racor IN F811. My truck has a plastic fuel supply line from the tank selector valve, which then goes to a steel line that connects to the factory separator, which has a steel line that follows the engine crossmember to the lift pump. I want to completely remove the factory separator, but keep the lift pump (its new and I don't want an electric). What is the best way to set up the fuel line from tank selector to lift pump? A rubber line the whole way? A rubber line from the plastic line to the lift pump? A steel line off of a later truck with no firewall mounted water separator? I'm looking for durability and to minimize the chance of air intrusion.

Thanks,
Peter A.
