Fuel return lines modification

Recently I ran into a bad injector on my 7.3 idi Turbo. The 3 way plastic fitting does not come in the typical line kit. However, it is possible to substitute a brass fitting from NAPA and install that in line between two injectors to connect to the other rail. That in turn eliminates the need for the 3 way fitting.
Locating the bad injector was done with a non contact temp gun aimed at the exhaust manifolds.
Truck now needs a 6 speed auto trans.

That's exactly what I'm doing. Just can't justify spending what they want for a new truck, even one 4-5 years old, plus pay someone $100-125an hour to work on it.
My wife wanted to buy me a truck and I told her to give me what she would spend on a truck and I'll build my own.
So I'm building my own truck, restoring a 1984 Banks turbo 6.9, T19, 3.55 rear.
Just need something to occasionally pull up to 13k.

Considering what has been expended on this toy in the past year including the purchase price, I am about 25% of a new truck. That new truck being the big V-8, 10 speed trans, crewcab, dually, 8 foot bed. 4X4.
The flip side is this truck might pull 15K. That new truck is rated for 30K.
I am in the process of building the trailer that will carry 30K.
Now the question might arise as to what is needed to convert a new engine into this old body, without emissions.
A possible project for a distant day.

I have the--

'86 F250 460 3.79 rear gears and a decent turning radius. It has the Warn 12K winch on the front and the extendable rear bumper.

'87 F250 6.9 4X4 diesel, Supercab peeling clear coat paint job.

'94 idi Turbo 7.3 crewcab Dually land Barge.

12 tractors mostly of the Ford/Ferguson variety 9,2,8N / TO-20 and an undersized Kubota B7500
6 trailers, 4 push mowers and two riders.

Oh yeah. No neighbors on 4 sides to whine at me.
