I am OK with a divorced case, but would rather mate it. A 6.2/6.5l is still in the back of my head, but I don't really like the idea. I'm keeping the Chevy axles, and sticking with a passenger drop t-case. I was just wondering if the spline count was the same. I read all about it years ago, but wasn't 100% sure which had which splines. So the T-case would need a 31spline input... Hmm, I'm pretty sure the GM and Ford inputs are a direct swap, for the 205's at least (?). Maybe I will just run a Chevy 205 mated to the Ford case. Let's see, does the adapter have to be notched for the shift rails like it does for the Ford 205?
It would probably be a lot easier to just run a divorced case.. I just wanted the down time to be minimal and not have to mess with fabbing shifters, etc.
