A buddy offered to help move our 5th wheel camper, here are the results and
note that the jacks never left the ground.

Aw man.... that's not a fair comparison. LOL

There's a reason we have class 8 trucks. :dunno

However, I have to say that is the BIGGEST HONKIN' 5th wheel camper I thing I've ever seen. What's the gross on it? 80K? :rotflmao

I wanna see that big thing hooked on the tailgate of a mini-blazer!!! :rotflmao

That thing is huge, I'm not sure I'd put my truck under it, and I've pulled a 15,000 lb dozer and 3000 lb trailer...damn sure would want working trailer brakes! lol

Guys the 5er is mine, and it had been wet there and he offered the use of 4x4 to get it to hard ground so that my FL112 could get under it. That 5er weighs more than my 35T lowboy does. It has about a 7.5K pin weight and weighs 30+K, I haven't weighed it in a while my Wife just keeps loading more stuff in it even with the 1 in 1 out rule.

I do enjoy living comfortably while on the road. Soon enough though the closing on the new house yields a new shop with 2 lifts, maybe I will be home more........;)

I think maybe slipping the FL under it, then winching them both out mighta been a better plan.

Hope you got the condo complex to solid ground with minimal disruption.

Pack Rat,

I should have got some pics of where it had to go to get out from there. There is a narrow bridge that was behind me when I took that shot. The ground dried enough that I didnt even leave ruts with the FL.

:eek::eek: :bail Holy cow my whole 28 ft 5er weighs about 10k and I though that sucker was heavy !

So what exactly is left of your buddy's hitch and frame after that little adventure? Not everybody's setup is rated for that kind of load, like most close to half of that, so that's way past the fudge factor
