That is one sweet running truck! It must take off like a rocket when you jump to max boost like that lol

What kind of compressor wheel did you get for it and where? With my luck it was probably in another thread and I missed it. If I could ever fix my boost leaks, I would be happy to just get up into the teens for pressure.

Also wanted to mention, kudos on treating your fuel. If I miss adding some Diesel Kleen to a few tanks, you really start to notice the haze of smoke it leaves behind.

I told you guys that thing was pretty different than any other IDI I know about! Well also glad we now know what that well over 15 psi boost number actually is. This is great, we still want to see dyno #s though, not because of doubt on my part but to set the bar. The current highest confirmed is 204 at the wheels. I'd think this truck beats that but I haven't seen that truck in action either to be fair.

Its in my sig. I run a complete different comp side than the 093 kit. Its a T04z comp housing, 4" inlet, 2.5" outlet, 66mm inducer, 83mm exducer

Nice, whats your 0-60 and weight? we can figure power from that roughly :D

I obviously didn't launch in that video, as I have already exploded 2 u-joints from trying to get 0-60 and 1/4 times, however, today I did launch it just to test it out (luckily I didnt blow a joint) best 0-60 time is 9.8, which is GPS confirmed in my speedometers 0-60 mode. I previously weighed the truck at 7300lbs, plus now with that big tank I added I have about 100 gallons of fuel in it... so I would say in that video truck weighs approx 8300lbs.

Somebody previously mentioned that with a 0-85 speedo would make it alot more obvious how fast this thing accelerates. the 0-200 makes it look very deceiving.

No doubt in my mind truck would be a lot faster with 3.55's and or an auto, I just need the ZF5 and 4.10's for towing...truck doesn't use its power for really speeding up till I hit 4th. I blast through 2nd and 3rd way too fast.

Hard to find a dyno that will do a dually. Think I found one though. He is the same guy that dynoed my Truggy a few weeks ago. He called to let me know his dually dyno is ready. I hope I can get it done next week.

I have no doubt in my mind I am over the current 204/450 bar, but it will still be a little exciting to get it on paper. Still wont change anything for me though.... as long as the truck does what I need... I'm happy.

Also, to show that the truck really was maxed out. Using the calculators on RingPinion.com my max mechanical speed is 93mph. Here is what my Speedo recorded.

I had forgotten how awesome that gauge cluster was. Gives it sort of an almost new feel without compromising the character of an old work truck.

except for the 200mph speedo:rolleyes: lol I really gotta get it changed, but yes it does have some pretty cool features.

yours didn't spool nearly as fast IIRC from your videos, did it?

At what rpm did you reach 20+? I dont remember from your videos, but I seem to remember thinking that your high rpm capabilities had alot to do with it.

No mine didnt spool as fast as yours, but remember i still have to stock ats wastegated housing, but im gonna cut mine like you did yours and put a 3" v-Band clamp on it and mine should spool much faster then, my new pump has 3000 stamped on the side of it but i never had a working tach after i put the new pump on, one of my grounds come loose, but i know i hit 28psi before i ran out of rpm, but i was clouding the road in smoke also,

With the old pump that had the 4500 rpm spring it was a non turbo pump and i had it maxed out and i could make 20 psi if i held it long enough it would make it around 2800-3000, then with my new pump i could hit 15 psi at a snap and 20 not much farther after that, and 28 when i held it a little longer, but i never caught it on video and didnt have a tach, but as soon as i get the truck back together there will be alot of videos made;Sweet

I just have the stock spicer 1330's. Haven't had time to change to 1350's or 1410's yet.

Just looked at my box that parts came in. it is labeled

84mm - 63 trim (67mm inducer)

Can you share what the cost of the T04Z was?

All I can find is complete turbos and they are all over $1500.

Just doing some research...;p
