Flapping v-belt

Chunked the idler and got the short belt that goes around the water pump and alternator. DAYCO 7425 13A1080

The one im using is the original honda with 180k miles on it. The bolt was out of my coffee can of random bolts....just found one with matching threads and slightly longer. Longer by about a 1/4 inch is necessary as the stock bolt wont grab enough threads.

Is this the bolt you mounted it too?

If so does anyone know a specs on that bolt? I am gonna try and go to lowes and match it up since I don't have a huge stash lol but I don't know if they will have one matching it perfect.

I dont think so, that's not where I'm floppy. My belt jumps around on the other side where it comes up from the crank. It's a longer run.

I see where that could be a problem haha.

But you are right, I dont know what I was thinking. I took a vid to show how my v belt moves all around. I assume it is that big bolt shown underneath the idler pulley in your original picture, which is the same that I point to last on my video? Or is there a small bolt right under that big bolt that you used?
