First day running Bio-D

I finally got around to getting some Bio to run in the truck. Runs pretty good , quieter less smoke, and lower EGT. About how long do y'all suppose the current fuel filter will last?

just have one or two on hand and drive it till it acts funny?

Maybe a long time unless your tanks are really dirty but have a couple extra fuel filters and plan to change it if need be. I really like biodiesel in my truck.

If the truck has had a steady diet of cleaning additives in the fuel, your filter may not clog any faster than on #2, but if not, expect years of buildup on the tank walls to be finding their way to your filter in short order. Have a few spares on hand, along with a gallon jug of ATF to fill them up with , if you don't have an electric fuel pump, for quick priming.

When I switched, I did not clog any filters...I did change them on my regular intervals, though.

there is a place around me in mechanicsburg and supposidly on the manhiem pike above were 30 crosses it. not the closest for you but they are around. i only think they are b20 though.

my truck liked the mechanicsburg mix though.
