ok guys I haven't been able to do ANYTHING in a few months and am finally in a place where I can get started again...so to start I have nmb2s short block showing up this weekend....ive got a set of heads im getting done next weekend...gotta buy a cam and manifold flange from r&d and all my manifold material...it is going to be twin uppipes...i have to have the crank turned with new bearings and rings...still am doing a holset turbo 14cm exh housing with a 60mm billet compressor...not sure on pump yet it sounds like they are working on a new pump all together so kinda up in the air as far as that goes...as for intercooler im using a water to air off a 2013 stroke...its compact and looks awesome and I already have it...going for atleast 350rwhp but depending on what goes on with the new pump Im hoping for a lil more... water **** will come one day but this is a good start ill get some pics up when block gets here this weekend

ive also ordered a 093 turbo mount that's what I used with my hx35 and it was just convenient...

ive got a new set of injector lines coming from Darrin tosh cause mine are tattered...

nmb2s rotating assembly showed up and the pressure head ceasing ended up causing the crank to walk ever so slightly into the backside of the center cap....doesn't appear to be any real crank damage so far but we will see what the machine shop says...

got main and head studs...

that's about it so far...so im just gathering the lil things lol got lots to go...

Those must be the new turbo stamps from the post office.

Last I read, he thought something got screwed up when he did his cam swap. What was the outcome on that?

Nmb2 thought he screwed something up from the cam swap? His problems came from a sticky pressure head in the oil cooler

I noticed he had that happen 2 times. Is there anything specific that was causing that issue? Oil cooler need some work, to much boost, etc?

Was just curious.

Thanks

As far as the oil cooler goes I've seen a few stick in both directions...as too much oil pressure or 0 oil pressure

Cant say that I have ever heard of high oil pressure causing a crank to walk... only time ive heard of a crank walking is due to bearing failure or a flywheel/flexplate issue...as in the trans somehow putting pressure through the back of the crank

Grinding a thrust bearing on a crank is tuff to do. then you need a special thrust bearing to make up the smaller diameter thrust area around the crank main bearing.
