Fast Idle Stuck

So my truck's fast idle is coming on as normal at start-up, but it won't shut off after it reaches 120-130 degrees like it should. What have you guys found to be the common failure? I am thinking the temperature switch has gone bad? IIRC it is the one on the drivers side near the front of the block, is this correct?
