Amen Tim. I had permission for the turbo. Forgiveness for the upgrades! :rotflmao Then there was that issue :backoff when Mel showed up w/ a trailer (back of a '69 Chevy C30 p/up) and a John Deere Model 70 lawn mower... I had to do this :hail :hail for a few weeks..

Hey I appreciate that. Yeah I made a stab at it. It's around $670.00 or so now....I put in a max bid somewhat higher than that & we'll see what happens.
I don't know what this all is worth, but I suppose that's up to whoever wants it the most & has the most use for it all. I got another 7.3 I'm gonna get back to putting together, actually my original 7.3.
(I learned the hard way about loaning out truck that runs "lean 'n mean & full of whoop a**" back when mine was nearly new......didn't even get an "i'm sorry, thank you, or anything" but it cost me another engine) So I got a spare original engine partly reassembled. I always liked that engine lots better than the rebuilt one I dropped in.

Anybody know about how much diff. a '93 IP innards and settings are vs my '90 IP? Actually I have 3 total '90 model IP now, been rotating them thru the years.
Wonder what diff a '93 factory turbo (I think they were ATS turbos??) would be vs my aftermkt ATS nongated tubo I installed in '90?
I know I don't have any low end power under a load till RPM's are up. When I'm working this thing (untracking a big load, or pulling cross country) I gotta grab gears fast & get back into gear at least 2200 RPM or it won't pull on out & up. (I'm talking 20K-30K GVW or more) It will hold & pull all way down to 1800 or so, but won't pull on up & out of RPMs range. If I can grab gear & get back in at 2250, then she will go ahead & pull on up. Below 2200 & working it, I always felt it be really easy to lug it.
I need a splitter, or an auxalry 2-3 speed. Have been hot about putting one in thru the years, then cool my jets about the idea.
Thanks
James
