Factory turbo mounting question

On the up pipe for the factory turbo that I bought there is a bolt, am I correct in assumeing that it is ment to attach the transmission dipstick to?

well you have a different dipstick than the factory turbo trucks. yours is towards the back of the engine isn't it? mine is up at the fuel filter. the bracket on my trans dipstick is bolted to the middle bellhousing bolt and not on any bolt on the up pipes....

that would be awfully hot on the dipstick. you would prob be burning atf eventually i would think...

Yes mine comes up behind the block.
