Tired of leaky unreliable mechanical lift pumps. Any one on here replace theirs with one of these, and if so, how reliable has it been.

Had mine for about a year and a half. 16,000 miles or so. It's still clicking along, and when you buy one, you will know what I mean by clicking! It is a solenoid operated diaphragm pump....so it clicks.

yes it does click. you'll soon be listening for the click as you heat the glowplugs prior to engine start. LOL

One of the best upgrades i have done. Nice clear bowl to see fuel and any nasties that may have settled out of fuel.

Would anyone be kind enough to give me a part number for the exact pump model I need?

Here is a picture of mine. The part number is there. These are used extensively on OTR trucks with refer units. Those trailers must stay cold or the load spoils. These pumps feed the cooler units for the refers. If they're not reliable the trucks companies wouldn't rely on them. They run day and night on those refers.

And more numbers on the side, just in case the other is a Carrier number.

My company gets a good discount at Napa so it may be cheaper to get it from them but thanks a lot for the link
