wouldn't the f450 have a different drop bracket or arm that may be able to be used?

Good luck on this...

Know it would be spendy but, could a person put air bags up front for a little more lift and softer ride???

AL, that's a good point, they do have a longer track bar and bracket. I may have to snag that too when I get the springs.

As for airbags, I wouldn't recommend them over stock leafs for lift. The amount of air pressure required to lift the truck would really stiffen up the truck. I would either have to consider a 4-link setup or a modified mono-leaf possibly.

I would only put airbags over stock leafs if I was running a plow or other heavy accesories hung on the front of the truck. They could help you get back to stock height with the extra weight.

I ended up buying a pair of F-450 leafs today at the salvage yard. I'll do a writeup to help for future questions about running them etc...just have to order some shocks. Bilstein 5100's!
