First what is it you are trying to accomplish, what do you have....
Rebuilding and special service tools are both not cheap and some times limited use.
are you talking about ring groove cleaners, ring compressors, inside and outside micrometers and feeler gauges and straight edges, all very important in rebuilding engines, along with torque wrenches...and so forth...or do you have those tools already?

Give us an idea what you have vs what your trying to get.

Ford did have a specality tool kit designed for the idi engine. Ebay has a listing for many of the special tool kits. They have ZF trans repair tool kits and most any other repair you could think of. Even differancial gear set tool kits. Just takes some looking. Usually Blackhat has some good prices on tool kits.

dieselcrawler im from Dushore,PA about 50 minutes north of williamsport. And thanks guys im doing a full rebuild and starting from scratch as far as special tools go thanks again.

alrite dieselcrawler ur about 3 hrs from me
as stated before, what tools you looking for? i have the ford rotunda kit. has alot fo things in it but almost none of them are "needed" for rebuild.
