What are y’all using for a probe for your egt gauge? I don’t have one yet but I’m assuming they don’t come with. Thanks

The folks who sell the gauges also sell the probes. Just drill the exhaust manifold and tap for the probe. Most are 1/4 inch pipe.

The "thermocouple" is\are specifically calibrated to the gauge.
You need to order the length needed from the gauge manufacturer.

If you have nothing, buy the gauge and thermocouple kit. A lot of them will come that way.

If you already have a gauge and are looking for a thermocouple, most pyrometers use a K type thermocouple, so any k type thermocouple will work. No need to buy an expensive replacement.

I was just looking at kits at the sensor connection :)
