I'm looking to relocate my trans temp sender from the pan (welded bung), If I recall there was a location on the body of the transmission you could install a sender. I would like to get a more accurate temp reading. Any thoughts would be helpful, thanks in advance.

Thanks, just couldn't remember where that port was (Old age is creeping in) or I have just filled my noodle with other useless S**t! Do you have a ave. temp range you trans runs from that location, around town/freeway, unloaded?

I thought it was reading a little cool 130-150 with the sender sticking out of the pan in the breeze, already have a aux cooler on board thanks though.
