Full-floater
Recently changes my trans fluid and since then I occasionally experience weird shifting issues.
I have always had the FIPL set at 1.27v. Shifts great there, much better than it does when set a 1.1v. But whenever I encounter these issues the shift point come MUCH later as you would expect with I high FIPL setting. Then as im on the road, I have to adjust it down to around 1.1v and I'll carry on. But further down the road it goes back to normal and start shifting WAY to early at 1.1 and I reset it at 1.27 and Im good to go until this happens again.
The FIPL, MLPS, VSS and solenoid pack are all new and the trans harness has been redone. Fluid is full and clean, (valvoline Max Life) and this weird issue usually happens as I go over a mountain pass and the tranny is working harder, not abused though. I always manually shift down and take er slow.
Any thoughts?
