How do you get the roll pin out that holds the shift linkage shaft in the tranny?

I thought that was a pin with a keeper on it. You are talking about inside the tranny, correct?

If you will PM me w/ your e-mail addy I can send you a blow up of the E4OD. maybe that will help.

Yeah, I'm just inside the tranny, my shift linkage shaft is held into the tranny housing with a roll pin. PM incoming.
