I'm guessing the 3rd guy is running stock cam? If thats the case it would be more like 20-25hp and 50ft/lbs...

So lower RPMs typ4 cam, higher theirs it looks like... Either one is a good fit from the looks of it though

Nice From the pics it looks like you turned it about 3100 3300 or so. Do you think it would have pulled higher with more fuel?.. The torq curve comes in later than I would have thought with your cam profile, Aprox 300lbs at 1000 and 3200 thats dam good Verry Nice real world numbers. Now you have somthing to shoot for next time you dyno with some rebuilt/new Injectors and a tweeked pump

Russ...how old is your pump?

I wonder if the reason it started dropping off drastically after 2800rpm's is due to a wearing (read, pump with miles on it) and the govenor spring becoming weaker?

Just me thinking outloud...

Racer I know it will, got my pump shop working on a new model right now.




Ford guy, 80k miles of every fluid imagineable, I have noticed a power loss since you were in it.

ocnorb, I have Ham plates. They have gotten me out of some tickets, especially if the wifes search and rescue vest is in the truck


3rd was stock cam the big blue is the dyno software looking for more info./power

I think Eric, dyno guy was just cutting us off after peak HP/TQ build.

Looks good Russ. Always good to legitimize the seat of the pants improvement with some legit dyno readings

"I was impressed, then my pump shop tells me the injectors they gave me years ago were some throw together rebuilds cause I was on a budget when I built it. Figures the injeector guy would have junkers."



My buddies in Ohio used to raspberry me about me being the hose guy, and my folks having a crummy pvc garden hose....but that was an easier fix than your injectors

Russ, what is the pump show doing for you? Higher flowing injectors and an injection pump?
