DT466 exhaust

Hi Guys,
I just found that my truck has a cracked exhaust manifold as well as it is leaking a bunch where the two pieces come together. It just seems like that stock manifold is extremely small and restrictive. Would it be worth the trouble to work on an upgrade? The tailpipe from the turbo is 4 inch which I would think is adequate isn't it? I would just like this engine to breathe as easy as possible and I don't really like the factory exhaust manifold anyway. Every single one I have seen has been cracked, although almost all of those have been on farm tractors so I don't know if that is a good comparison.

We have a truck at work with a 466(not the one pictured to the left, but another '94), and it's had 2 sections of exhaust manifold replaced from cracks a couple years ago. I haven't heard of really any upgrades for them either, aside from trying to fit a newer year manifold on there. Then there's always porting :Sly .
