I have to struggle to open pdf's on this machine, so I can't..

apparently 170 hp stock for that one, one with an I/C facto was 190 or 200... factory gov is 2600, with a design to allow it to spin to 35 (39 ?) for example if you were compressioning down a hill....

neverenufhp has a page dedicated to cranking fuel and gov spring on these.. seems to think 3500 or so is well within bounds. Claims they are popular in the pulling circuit, 4 figure hp and solid all day long.

these guys... http://www.sixstates.com/products/products.jsp have a IH clutch, 13" 10 spline 1.25" shaft for $68... mate to the 401 flywhel, and an NP435/t-19 etc.

The cores are in like CA. Im in Va.

Id like to do a ZF-5 and BW1356 or something. I found a Ford L8000 with Cat 3208 and Eaton 10 speed for $3500. scrap the truck. keep the motor and trans, sell my driveline and get to work.

And on the scrap the truck note, play around on copart.... some killer stuff there.. register or find a registered dealer and pay him a bird dog fee...

Found complete Roadway 6 wheeler tractors, 2001 models and up, for 2-3k, 3126 Cat, Eaton 9 speed ... drive it home, 175 - 250 k on clock..... **** load of crusability there.. or rock yours on up to 22.5 territory for wheels and tires....

there was a MAc with a 5.5 l 6 and a Dana Spicer 5 speed.... at my local co part.. went for 1800..... Local Mac guys said it was a pretty solid runner (overall) 220 oir so for hp, factory IC drive it home...

Saw a crew cab IH 3700 with a 360 go for cheap in TX... a MAN 10 wheeler go cheap... Copart is a good venue for swap stuff. ESPECIALLY if you are thinking outside the box.

My 6.7 will come from there.

Im still searching. I havnt completely giving up. But i dont know what my budget is yet.

You probably want to either get a Ford T18/19/NP435 and an old brownie or maybe just find a medium duty older spicer or Eaton transmission to mate to any of these bigger motors. They all tend to have low rev limits and you need a good number of gears to keep them in their efficiency range. I feel like a DT360 would be great in one of these trucks, probably make some good #s fuel economy wise. Wet sleeved and parts still available from International so you can keep it until you're tired of it or the gov't bans them.

I dont really want an allison but i cant find a DT360 with a manual. After Winter is over or close to the end of winter is when i will be getting majorly heavy into this idea.
