Is it possible to drop the pan with the engine still in the truck? If so what all do I have to do?

1st, come to my house and practice on my truck!

Yes, you can. Remove the motor mounts and lift the engine until the bellhousing hits the firewall. That gives you just enough room to get the pan out.

I had a hard time getting the pan back in w/ gasket sealer on it and evidently hit the front of the pan on something because that is where mine leaks.

Turbo. But the turbo was off at the time. I need to pull it to replace the grommet at the oil return / valley pan so it will be off when I pull the oil pan ...again...
