I may have messed mine up on the turbo oil line... thought they went inside the block fitting, then the flared end of the line butted up to them 
But then I saw a pic with the olive slid over the flared end of the line, then stuff it in the fitting and tighten down? Mine did not look like they would fit over the end.
The olives look strange to me too
