Door speaker wiring

I am having issues trying to get the front door speakers to work on my '90. The rear ones work fine and I have tested all the speaker wires in the dash behind the radio but I get nothing. What color would the left and right speaker wires be?

Pull the door panel and have a look.

I did that and there looks like a black wire with a white stripe and a pink wire with green stripe but neither of those are in the dash behind the radio...

I found a website that says orange-green is +ve and blue-white is -ve for the front left and White-green is +ve and pink-green -ve for the right front. The colors are close to that on my 92 truck, so that's what I used to hook up my new JL audio speakers. Only problem is I haven't finished with this GD time change. I'll let you know if those colors work.
