Ya I agree.....they are all over ...except in 4x4 version, that would be a first for me seeing one like that...hmm...what a build that could be. slip a diesel into it and make a nice deck with winch, and maybe a knuckle boom and be a nice recovery rig....some 46" michelans

I got to drive one of those to school for an FFA event one time. It was an old retired fire truck that still had the siren mounted on the front. It had a grain box on the back though. I loved listening to that engine idle. Nice quiet deep sound, wasn't exactly a fan of the shifting. One gear you'd be up against the dash with the shifter, the next gear you where down into the seat. Bit like shifting with a rubber band LOL Never seen a four wheel drive though.

Yeah you need a couple? there are 4 right down the road forsale!

If they are cheap!

lots of fire depts still have them around me, more of show pieces than in use.

They were used heavily for soda delivery here. Short cabs left more room for cargo.

Never seen a 4X4 before.

I worked on a jockey truck version with a 390 in it. Wasnt a bad unit. Had a really strange fuel filter on it with a removeable seditment bowl.

the local utility had quite a few 4x4 trucks. they got them stuck in some pretty remote places too. I've recovered more than a few out of the mud and bottom of ravines.-cuss-cuss-cuss-cuss

The 4wd is defiantly an odd duck.
But the local Roadway had a whole bunch of them till a couple of years ago

They used them by me for local deliveries only. Some didnt have fornt brakes. (I saw it myself)

They would never pass an inspection at a scale.
