Hey guys I have a 94 f250 7.3 idi turbo. I bought it for $1500. They previous owner told me the iP went out while on the interstate. so today I'm starting to disassemble I'm getting fuel to the filter and I'm getting fuel to 2 injectors the rest are dry. So what should I do now? Pretty new to diesels thanks.

Pull the fuel filter off and replace it with a new one, fill it with atf before installing. Crank until you have red fuel at the injectors, then let it set overnight or even a few days. The atf’s detergent helps unstick the ip if it’s been sitting for awhile, since you have fuel only at two injectors, I’d say the other discharge ports are clogged, likely the lower ones since crud always settles to the bottom of the pump.

After it has set, try cranking it over and see if you can get fuel at all the injectors. You need a lot of rpm to help it build pressure, so make sure you are spinning at least 150-250 rpms when cranking.
