Do E3 plugs really do anything?

they dont make an e3 for the I6.but if youre lookin for a performance plug accel 0375 will fit it.

Ive heard the 4 prongers where pretty good.... thats what they said at auto zone. but they didn't have any for my 300 6

I run nothing but ngk iridiums in my 92 5.8 and 04 2.3 ranger. in fact I tried the e3s in the ranger a few years back when they first came out and fuel milage and throttle response was noticeably worse. I changed them back out after 15k and threw them in the trash ca, I'll never use them again

The way I look at it, is ford could of gotten more HP and milage out of one of these gimmic spark plugs, they would of used them.

I'll stick with motrocraft or autolights

That is what I was htinking as well. The OEM's are installing 100,000 mile plugs on the assembly line. And those plugs are the conventional single prong plugs. I really want to give these new style a chance, but from what I hear from several people is they are just not worth it.
