Do E3 plugs really do anything?

I just watched a thing on Speed about E3 spark plugs. I do not trust gimmicks and that is what the E3’s look like to me. I have heard that they do very well in small engine applications and even some imports. But I have also heard that they do nothing in V8’s. I am considering them for our old F250 with a 5.8 and I would appreciate any feedback from my fellow real truck owners.

Save Your money or invest in a set of long life type plugs with Platinum tips.

I agree. I am looking at the long life Motorcraft plugs right now.

my dads ram 2500 had platinum tips and they sucked hee got the e-3s cheaper then the platinums at autozone and there great they upped his fuel milage alittle and he said he felt like it had alittle more snot to it and it use to have a ping when it went up hills with the platinums and after the3 e-3s it was gone

That is interesting. I have not heard many people say good thing about them. What size engine did his Ram have?

I use Bosh 4 prongs in my 350 chevys. They like them and no complaints.
