picky ?? :backoff

dude, at ANY price, why in hell would I want to put a BAD flywheel in ??

I already HAVE a bad one in there! :rotflmao

and for my case, it ain't a clean and simple job to swap it here at the mine. I've got to lay in the rocks and mud all freakin' day to do the swap. not an investment I want to make for no reason.

anyway, it's only "dirt cheap" if it IS GOOD, eh?

think about it...

Dude....I feel for ya....sounds like you really need to just bite the bullet and get a new DMF and be able to sleep soundly. 20k on a flywheel is hardly anything. even if the IP was getting goofy. Want to feel better take a look at the backside of yours. you will prolly see spring wear on the secondary and prolly see the spring retainers are threatening to take a leave. Anytime you deal with used parts, you're throwing the dice. It may be good, you may get screwed. Bute then again, you're not paying full pop either.

whatever.... price isn't germane to the question.

I asked about bearing play and visual checks. seemed like reasonable questions to me.

thanks for the info on the springs/retainers
