Yes yes, I know the difference between limited slip and locking diffs. Locking diffs are mainly an aftermarket item, the locker in my brown trucks rear end is an EATON unit IIRC, I'm not sure who makes the ford limited slip units.
I don't know of any limited slip diffs that click the way a real locking diff does.
All of my old camaros have eaton locking diffs from the factory GM plant, my brothers shelby mustang has a ford limited slip, and his new 68 GT sprint convertible has a limited slip as well.
