Did all Crew Cabs have locking rear diffs?

Do not confuse a factory limited slip with a locker.

Yes yes, I know the difference between limited slip and locking diffs. Locking diffs are mainly an aftermarket item, the locker in my brown trucks rear end is an EATON unit IIRC, I'm not sure who makes the ford limited slip units.
I don't know of any limited slip diffs that click the way a real locking diff does.
All of my old camaros have eaton locking diffs from the factory GM plant, my brothers shelby mustang has a ford limited slip, and his new 68 GT sprint convertible has a limited slip as well.

mine came with a one wheel hopper, but after having some bearing problems.. It was switched over to a factory limited slip... with lots of slip might I add.

The 1992 that me and BigRig stripped was a peg leggs....and the CC dually 2wd I bought and stripped was handicapped as well.

After exhaustive research all rear's where limited slip on automatics, only special order would you get one or change it yourself to a locker.

I have a dim view of factory traction aids... the 'slip' is in NO way limited. It actually runs away once it begins. "Limited slip" is a misnomer... it implies it should slip a certain amount, then stop. Quite the opposite of what it does.

IMO....

Open diff = "No traction differential"

Stock LSD = "Limited traction differential"

My dad's 86 has a limited slip rear. It's a single wheel 4x4.

The '89 Dually I sold my sister is open. My other 3 crewcabs (2 SRW and 1 Dually) are Limited Slip.

I've also had 2 460 powered Crew Cab Duallys and they were both limited slip.
