I was referred here by a good friend of mine so I thought I'd give it a go. I hope to get started on a possible prospect for a diesel truck soon if the deal works out. I'm not new to being under the hood but most of my experience comes with gas engines. Worked on a few diesels and I think it's time to take the plunge. I found a 93 F250 turbo 7.3 IDI that needs a little TLC for $600. It's a 5 spd extended cab long bed 2WD. I've only talked with the owner and not seen the truck as of yet. Owner says it does run but currently needs the turbo put back on it and it's been getting a little bit of coolant in the oil. I don't know what his definition of a little bit is though. Hope to find out this weekend. Just seeing if it's worth the trouble to resurrect as it been sitting for a little while. Anyway, good to be here and look forward to talking with everyone.
