Actually, all but a handful of counties (a few I believe 8 in the southeast corner around the Cincinnati followed DST and stayed with Eastern Time, because alot of the residents in that area work in Cincinnati. Also there were 3 or 4 in the Northwest Corner (Gary and other areas) observed DST and stayed on Central Time, since alot of the residents in that area work in Chicagoland. I believe there were also a couple in the southwest corner that also stayed on Central, in the Paduca, Ky area) The rest of the state, including Indianapolis did not observe DST. We stayed on Eastern Standard Time all year. This was changed 5 or 6 years ago, then DST was changed to the lengthened. So we got a double hit.....
