dash broke

any body else broken the dash bracket on the right hand side,
why do they make stuff out of cheap plastic anyway seems that my whole truck is falling apart around the engine lately,if its not fuel lines or brake lines rotting out its stupid stuff like the dash,sorry guys had to vent

mine is boke, i didn't fix it yet. towcat, i think he's talking support all the way on the passenger side bottom that holds that whole side of the dash. I've seen a fix somewhere maybe tds, i think they reinforce it with metal but i can't remember for sure.

Mine broke a few years ago, and I finally got around to fixing it about a month ago.
I took a peice of steel, 1/2" x 1/8" by about 5" long and made a 90* bracket to hold the dash up. It is kind of a weird angle the one leg has to be, but can be made without any special tools. It is held in place with the original bolt on one side, and screwed to the underside of the dash with sheet metal scews.

thanx guys but i got a bracket made up tonight and installed,looks pretty good.
kept hearing the noise after i would hit a big bump and never could find it,guess the plastic bracket just finally gave up.
better than new now right
