Hey, will any please send me enough information so a first timer like me can build a device to convert used oil to something I can put in my tank and burn, regardless of mix ratio. I would sure appricate it. I am waiting for my tax $$, and I have decided to go ahead and build a system. I just can't afford not to with gas at $4.71 a gallon here in Boise, Idaho

Thank you

yep if you just want to start off you dont need to modify your truck to run around a 50/50 mix more or less depending on your climate and how your truck likes it.

Now, that's what I am talking about. I like that set up, with the water filter. Good call.

when I am not moving drilling rigs around the oilpatch I am freelancing as a commercial/heavy duty mechanic and whenever i perform any petroleum based fluid(ie. hydraulic fluid, engine oil, gear oil, ATF, you name it i burn it) change and flush i always keep the oil than i just simply filter it and put it straight into my front fuel tank i don't mix it with diesel and i run diesel in the rear tank i use the diesel for warm up and cool down and burn the used oil the rest of the time i might use 3 tanks of diesel a year and during the winter except for scheduled maintenance my 7.3 IDI runs constant 4 months a year being that -40F is not uncommon up here and diesel here is $6.12cad/gal or $1.62cad/l
