In my crew thread. May not be the fanciest, but that's how I fit a 6637 into my pick up. A replacement filter for the stock air box started that trip, foam ring was too soft, wouldn't seal against the lid... Elbow at the turbo is a part from a cac plumbing kit, powerstroke ccv mixer elbow to keep the cdr plumbed in, last part I picked up at our parts dept which is a truck shop, some cac pipe (unknown application, paid $5 for it) I used to run to the filter. Still plan to make a actual mount for my filter like you can get for the strokes. And my mixer elbow is supported. I used about 8" of .25 X 1" steel to make a support bracket for it, it's not just chillin on my vacuum pump. Used to be though be for I finished it if I'm honest...

Wasn't really my goal but it's a little louder. Sucking dirt from a crappy filter gave it the most whistle. The noise from the intake I don't hear with the windows up, with them down I hear it hiss.

This isnt my set up, but this is what I plan on doing for my intake. Its a little work to move the filter set up around, but nice straight shot into the turbo after that.

Nothing wrong with pvc, people ask me all the time where I bought my snorkel from and I say home depot. My intentions had zero to do with increased performance, but the colder/half way forced air did make enough difference to offset some of the funky bends the new routing made.I felt no differance, and when you consider it, adding over 4' of pipe and several

hard turns really reduces ease of flow. It's all about how you do what you do as much as anything else. Even underhood units can make an unfeelable differance with a little shielding and a few holes cut haha
