Clutch slipping

Have a 1988 7.3 with zf 5 speed tranny. Replaced slave cylinder and bled the lines. Now after driving a few miles the clutch wants to slip.Bad clutch?still air in the lines? .......this is my first time so i couldve done somthing wrong:dunno

Yea...I just put another engine in and so I was afraid i put somthing back together wrong beings i had the tranny out etc. Could easily be a bad clutch tho.

just kidding. if you did it wrong, it wouldnt work at all.
i suspect worn out clutch disc, i just put a new kit in mine.
i used a south bend clutch. mighty pricey tho. LUK kits are 1/2 the price.

The only thing I can think that you can do and have it work at all (but not right) is putting the clutch disk in backwards. When I took my truck apart, I figured the clutch was worn out based on the way it behaved the short time I drove it. Nope. Its basically brand new, but the disk was in backwards and it ground the rivits in the center section off against the flywheel bolts. Speaking of which, you put sealant on the crank bolts right? They will leak oil if you don't and could cause your problme if oil is getting on things.
