Hello everyone. I have a brand new clutch master and slave installed and the new unit doesn’t have the tab that locks the clutch safety switch in place from rotating. I am talking about the switch inside the cab attached to the clutch rod although the rod is on the brake side. Had anyone else experienced this?

it was already deleted in my truck so haven’t ever dealt with it in the idi. That may be your best option?

There is a metal clip that snaps onto a groove in the od of the of the cylinder protruding into the cab that that the switch hooks on to.
I got what I needed from a parts truck.

For myself I want to teach my grand kids how to drive a manual transmission. So I consider the safty switch important for that.
