So the good news is that I now have the tranny and engine situated in my crew cab (see sig). Spent the whole morning working on it - in the rain.
The bad news is I severed the line between the clutch master and slave cylinder. It looks to me like the same tubing that I tore out of the diesel for the fuel line. It's a hard plastic with what appears to be a push on fitting at the master cylinder end and a hudraulic style swivel fitting on the salve cylinder end.
Anyone else replaced one of these? Is there some sort of generic tubing that can be used, or is there a specific pre-formed piece? I'll be needing one soon..........

I think that ford may have what you are looking for.

I believe that I have a complete master to slave setup off of a 5 sp zf if you are interested. This would include the line as well.

PM me if you want it.

On you clutch master, does the line exit the front of it, or does it come out the bottom? If your hose came out the bottom, you can get a new one from ford or a parts store. I got one for $60 from O'reilly's. If it comes out the front, you will have to get one used as they no longer make those lines or the clutch masters that use them. It was one of those pointless redesigns that makes no sense.
