clutch alignment

anyone have a clutch alignment tool i can borrow? im goin to be swapping motors and the new one came from an automatic truck so i have to swap my clutch and flywheel i have a 92 7.3 with a 5speed

they sell the alignment tools? i did not know that as i always got em with the clutch kit

If you were close I would let you use mine, just finshed my clutch install a few weeks ago. Probably cheaper/quicker to grab one from a parts store than mail mine to you.

If you have the engine out, you can pretty much eyeball it. I use the input from a 435 as mine since they have the same spline input shaft as a LOT of the trannies.

my autozone does not carry one im gonna look and see if i have one layin around since alienturtle gave me specs hopefully i can get it to work

Autozone LIED. Here is a universal one that I have used a similar type for 20+ years

Stop by your local trans shop. They will have dozens of then laying around

i guess i just beat around the bush when talkin to you lol good i need a damn alignment tool ha ha prolly tomorrow cuz my cab is ready to come off and i pick up the motor in the am hopin to have it all back together by sat afternoon
