Well I previously had paint under the ground on my GP controller ground and today I took it off and sanded down behind the ground so it has more of a metal to metal contact. After doing that and going though all the wires making sure the contacts are tight. I like usual test started my truck, and heck its harder then heck, I believe since my temp on the truck was around 130 degrees, may contributed because all it did was do the after glow where it click on and off about 20 times...Any help? Really need it fixed in the next few hours..I guess its getting to good of a ground. I know I have one bad GP and before I cleaned up the ground the truck would start perfect but would not do the after burn.....

Is this an updated solid state controller or the stock relay with a separate controller and relay which was stock on your 85?

Why do you think it was a bad wire? This is something you need to fix before it get really cold and it happens again... When you really need it to work correctly...
