Cheap/best performance mods for 96 psd???

I'm looking at getting a 96 f350 with a powerstroke. What's the best performance mods I can get for the money? A chip? Downpipe and exhaust? Any opinions appreciated! Thanks!

if the truck has the mils it says it does from other thread you might want to look into injectors first, to many a good psd has been ruined from people stepping up performance with bad injectors.

Downpipe and strait pipe the exhaust.
IIRC 3.5 pipe is good for about 500 hp after that it time upgrade.

i shimmed the FPR on our 94, not real hard to do, but they only time i notice a difference is when the truck aint missing which aint often

If you going to do stage ones you'll need a intercooler and the 15* HPOP may have trouble feeding the Stage 1's at WOT sometimes. You might also want to find a 17* HPOP if you do the stage 1's
