If you are re-doing your floor and headliner, Jute itself in multiple layers is tremendous. The 93 I used to have i did double layer jute on the floor, triple layer on the back wall (crew cab) and single layer above the head liner. That pickup was as quiet as the new pickups (sans the air leaks in the doors I hadn't tended to yet)

Fat Mat is the cats @ass for ease of installation and cost way less than Dynomat. Darrin Tosh turned me on to the stuff. Its foil on one side and sticky backed on the other. Be around 75 degrees for easy flow and stick but don'r leave the roll in the direct sunlite. I used two layers and its great for cutting down the road noise. I could not get the headliner out of the crewcab so I didn't do the top. I did the back wall all the way up and the floor from firewall to behind the rear seat. The doors were done too just under the panels. Did I say it was cheap too....:sly

stuff works great and it will conform to your floor and roof, I have it on my floors roof rear wall and doors and on the roof of my camper shell.

I guess i'm getting old. I really enjoy how quiet the Genesis is. So much infact that i want to put stock exhaust back on the crown victoria and quiet the truck up.

personally i love the sound of my truck so i wouldn't deaden the noise at all. it does not seem all bad to me though.
