I know this has been talked about in the past.
1987 f 350 cab chassis with pick up bed installed.was having sending unit issues. It's a work truck so I made an access panel above sender and replaced it that way . No dropping tank. Repair wiring and line issues. Panel is attached with some screws into a welded frame work.
