Hi just wondering if anyone has tried stuffing one of these filters on our beloved IDI engine bays and if you did do you have any pictures. I am contemplating the I idea.

thanks

but at our fuel flow volume, wouldn't the increased lifespan offset the filter cost. Larger filter surface area = longer lifespan.

I can get the filters for about $18 a pop out the door I think it is close to 1/2 of the cost of the replacement filter I got on my truck now. More filtration is always nicer maybe not necessary but can't be bad at all especially when it's 2micron at 98-99% effectiveness better than the nominal rating on the replacement filters.

But anyway still trying to figure out the mounting looks like it's going to be fun finding a spot to put it and still have easy enough access to service.
