The dash on my '93 F-250 is in generally good shape except for the padded panel on the right side. Is it possible to remove only this panel for repair, without pulling the whole dash?

I have mine apart right now. Remove the glove box and you need to remove the radio from the dash. Then if you reach up back behind thru these openings, you should find some studs with tinnerman nuts, I think 10mm.
Probably like 6 of them. A 1/4 inch swivel ratchet and short socket should work to get them off. Dash pad should just pull straight off then.

Just about anything for these old trucks that you can't pick up off of a parts store shelf is expensive. It's just part of the game. If you think that's bad, try to buy a Nissan Titan headlight or a new tailgate for a modern truck with a camera mounted in it from a dealer.
