Will a NP205 adapter from a gas c6 fit an idi c6?

The zf bell will swap with a little mod, I think the tails on c6 are the same...

Ford transfer cases are usually pretty interchangable. Newer ones may be different, but in our era, there's usually no issues.

the NP205 is a heavy case! if you have an aluminum adapter i would highly suggest another support for the transfercase.

I agree. from my limited experience with them, they used what I called another cross member from the factory. And DON"T drop it on your arm. You'll be there for a while.

Why the NP205? You do hardcore 4x4? I had an NP205 in my 89 for a while and swapped it back for a 1356. It sucked to use like a typical truck on snow and ice. And it was loud.

Now other than drive shafts, the 1356 and NP205 swapped on the back of the transmissions easy. ZF-5 and T-19...well a US gear overdrive actually.
