I'm thinking mine is taking a dump. I think it's the shift fork bushings.
Here's what happens. When I'm downshifting to slow down, I get a grinding. It does it in any gear. Say I'm taking off and then let off the pedal, it will grind. Only way to keep it from grinding is A: don't downshift, just come to a stop and start all over. B: Rev match to keep forward pressure on the gears.
If I'm already going fairly slow, it sometimes doesn't do it.
I'll probably go get another junkyard one. (What this one was, paid 75 it's lasted about 5 years) But I'm thinking of trying to fix this one also.
Any ideas?
