NICE! Not far from me either. I'll have Suzi email her and convince her we need to go look at it for you. :Sly

If not Eric,
I was looking in the Auto Trader today and saw a few good trucks in the Grand Rapids MI area. If ya want a CC SRW lifted with BFG's and purdy California red....Hmmmmmm even looked like Big Ed.  :D

How many nights would you have to sleep on the couch if you just came home with it - that's the real question...

*it's easier to ask for foregiveness than to ask for permission is my motto*

I agree w/ Travis. Ask forgiveness, not permission. I already told Steph that her next car will be one. There is no room in the engine bay of a mini van and I want economy of scale. IDI cargo van, IDI SUV, IDI truck! ;Sweet

Centurion conversion is the precursor to the Excursion.

Well done custom job--not just a cap over the bed on a 4 door. Whole thing done on an F350 chassis--went the diesel Suburban one better.

May I elaborate? a crew cab 'n chassis with a shortened frame and then they cut the back off the cab replacing it with the back half of a bronco sheetmetal, Centurian is THE name in this customization, they cost 50% bto 100% more than a similar chevy suburban when new, so they are fairly rare -cuss

I work in Ship and looked at it after work today. It is too cool. Limited slip 4:10, sraight front axle, high-low overdrive ect... I've only ever seen 4 in my life and this is the first diesel. As much as I would like to have it, I would have to get rid of the Excursion to get it. It would be mine pre- Excursion. But as you all know it is hard to purchase something with money you don't have.

I recall drooling over a few of those things seen driving around the Houston area when I lived there. I thought they were very, very well done.

I hope the subject of this thread finds a good home.
