would 16x8's really do much, i mean my stockers are 16x7, thats why i was gonna go with 16x10's

Just depends on what kind of tires you want to run, I think like towing tires and load e tires mostly use 16x8, and off road/mud tires mostly use 16x10

at the biggest i will have 37's and at least a D range, most likely an E range though. will probably get a 33x12x16 or whatever a 305x??x16 is. i will only have a 3" body lift so more than likely i will have 33's, so that would be a 285x75x16. will 35's fit with a 3" body lift?

I clear 37's with a 4" so 35's with a 3" should be fine.

You should shop around for the price on 37's though

Cheapest I ever found was over $200 a tire!

That's when I decided to get the humvee tires at $75 a tire.

Corey-
Not to sound like a smartass, but i've been hardcore wheeling toyotas since I was a kid. Land Cruisers specifially, and the first armor I ever added to any of my rigs was rocker panel protection. I've seen pics of your trucks all over this site and never seen one with any sliders on it................are you just lucky and don't damage them? Or don't have any pics with them installed? Just asking since i've been thinking of building a set for my 250 and was wondering if you made some and how they looked. I dont wheel with my 250 by any means, but I do see some nasty trails in Arkansas when I duck hunt (mostly tree stumps and small boulders) but I know its just going to be a matter of time before i high center my truck and smash/dent a rocker on a stump or rock and would like to have some protection in place rather than the aluminum running boards it has now..............BTW- your truck(s) are awesome! I really like the shortened wheelbase. Also, are you running a doubler of any kind? I've always thought a 6.9 with a 4 speed and a 203/205 w/ twin sticks would be a retarded torquey crawler. You running anything like that?

never needed sliders. the factory ford rockers are very strong, i have had the truck slam down onto them and maybe tweak them a bit but no door issues. one day i am gona build a set though.

i am in the process of getting a doubler. but not 203/205. i am probly gona run the 1356/1356 doubler. so i will have 1-1, 2.6-1, and 5.2-1 ratios.

right now with the 3.55 gears, 40 inch rubber, the 1356 tcase and the low that the np435 has, my crawl ratio is 65ish to 1. when i swap over to 4.10 gears it will be 72 to 1. if i throw the doubler on it will work out to 176 to 1 low range first gear.
