ok, so loaded down completely without my overload springs, i have 4"-5" of clearence between my back tire and bottom of the dump bed, front is stock suspension. i am going to do a 3" body lift, 4" blocks in rear and 2" blocks in front (just replaced all suspension parts, dont want to do it again this soon). will the front axle take that much with some minor adjustment?

Don't run 2" blocks in the front!

Blocks in the front are not safe at all, and in many stats they are illegal!

I know you can run a 1" block upfront IF it is welded to the axle, but there is noway I'd ever run a 2" block up front.

(I know I don't have a lot of room to talk, seeing how my truck has 3" mini packs upfront, but that wasn't my doing, and they're getting replaced!)

If you don't want to replace the leaf pack, then either get some add-a-leafs, or take your leaf packs to a shop and have them add some leafs to it, but be warned, by doing this your truck will ride like crap.

Another thing to think of would be to drop your shackles up front, but I don't know all the details on that, so someone else will have to fill you in.

ok, no blocks up front. gonna have the springs re-arched then add one or two leafs from a f350, or add-a-leafs, to keep them arched that way. or maybe just bite the bullet and do the D60 swap :Thumbs Up

I'm in the same boat, I just can't bring myself to spend $2-3K on an axle and lifted suspension

But I guess that just means the truck would be worth $2-3K more? :rotflmao
